A lot of us are dealing with some serious mental struggles. Our mojos are not jiving as well as they used to pre-pandemic. We’ve lost our happy, productive, and energetic sides of ourselves.
Becoming emotional during our “lockdown” state is a normal human reaction to this situation. Don’t think you’re alone for a second in feeling the way you do. But let’s recognize it for what it is and respond appropriately to it. The #1 thing you can do is to recognize what is causing you to be so bummed out. Is it something you can control or not? When you “go there” you give up your power over the situation and the downward spiral begins. If you worry about and get down about the things you can’t control you lose your power over your own situation. Instead let’s focus on what we can control; when we wake up, what we eat, how we train, and our own personal development day-to-day. When we focus on those things we’ll realize there is still a lot we have control over and what difference we can make in our own lives, and the lives of the others around us.
