“Never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best”
It is true that perfection is enemy of done. But, there are a few key things that we can do to ensure that when we are done – even if our work isn’t perfect – that we get the most out of what we do.
If you value growth, then you know that in order to be happy you need to learn something new or get better at something that you already do.
Lets start with good, then progressively get better until we are the best.

Can you think of anything you are doing a good job at right now that you can get better at? What is the best version of that?
Can you think of anything in your personal or work life that you are doing a good job at right now that you can get better at? What is the best version of that?
The point of this is not to say that what we, as individuals, are doing right now isn’t good enough, it is to recognize that we have to start somewhere and master each level before moving on to the next. We need to realize what is involved at each level and what the top level looks like. If we think big, bigger than your original goal, then we are going to automatically hit that original goal in our pursuit to the top. Do you want 6 people to come out to your next party? Plan for 10, what does 10 look like, how do you market towards 10, how do you serve 10? I bet if you plan for 10- you’ll hit 6 no problem.
Think big, get big. Move from good, to better, to best with a plan.
